Honestly, I was listening to an album from like 50 years ago and was thinking, "this needs to be mocked a little bit, and from the perspective of the authority people will always need to control them."

You mean the 600 Club or the above top secret forum?

Fucking around isn't only for entertainment. Sometimes, it's a profession. I have a conspiracy theory of my own that the large number of conspiracy theories and their supporters are a tool used by the system to discredit the opposition. How is it done?

Let's take one controversial topic "Covid vaccines" for example. And you have a journalist or an activist or whoever saying or writing something innocuous like: "I'm sceptical about these new vaccines, there wasn't enough time to test them thoroughly. We don't know whether they are effective or what side-effects they have." Sounds perfectly reasonable, right? It's a valid argument, right? 

But imagine it's followed by dozens of people or bots who say or write shit like: "Yes, you're right! Vaccines are deadly! They want to kill us all! Bill Gates planned to depopulate the planet a long time ago! We must stop this mass genocide!" At first sight, they are on the same side as the dissident, supposedly. But in reality, by posting total crap they work to discredit his argument and any reasonable argument that could appear later on.

It's because the general audience watching or reading the exchange is likely to commit the association fallacy. The valid arguments will get lost among the crap and anyone using them will automatically become guilty by association. The association (voluntary or not) with those saying or writing the bullshit. The inevitable conclusion of the observers will be: "Everyone who doesn't support the vaccines is an idiot and a conspiracy nut."

This is why I suspect most (not all) of the conspiracy theorists of being on the government payroll. I could be wrong but this is what somehow bothers me.

Another way is to deliberately spread the bullshit in the media, including the internet where every idiot can have five minutes of fame. The more bullshit floats around, the more confused people become. Finally, they will come to the point when they will no longer be able to tell the difference between the facts and the fiction, between the truth and the lie. And what will the average Joe do when he has total mess in his stupid head? He will turn to the figures of authority to guide him through the intricate web of lies and half-truths. On TV it will be the carefully selected so called "experts". On fapbook it will be "fact checkers."

Sad but instructive.

Conspiracy theorists 1/20 accuracy helps tell the truth without actually admitting anything.  There is use there.  The US Navy can strait up patent an anti-gravity plasma propulsion system like it's a smartwatch . Truth masked by all the Oprah sucking white baby adrenochrome bullshit. 

They rushed the vax though. Warp Speed may have been too fast, but people wanted concerts back. So it has more side effects on people not really susceptible to covid but forced to take it for work or school.  That seems like exactly what nature would do.  Nature came back like a fucking boomerang on China. They won't report how many deaths a day, but there's evidence to support their outbreak is like India and USA combined. 

Their weird animal market incubated biowarfare shit. 

That's another one.  China created it. And since THEY ACTUALLY DID, that natural payback (to balance out their impact) is a bitch. You won't get transparency on their outbreak though.

The 600 Club. The dude was (and still is) fucking insane; I was captivated. There was also a handful of others (you included of course) that were on par, just different. It was some good writing. I spent the better part of a year at a professional writing forum until one day after a late afternoon nap I decided to tear into this neurodivergent faggot in a similar style as here or the other and he cried and it seemed like they didn't know exactly how to handle it at first - post was put on hold and made visible only to members. The particular moderator who eventually "moved" my post was not very active and not someone I typically interacted with, anyway, I don't care for anyone deciding what I will or will not write and that was that.

Your theory seems reasonable, but not only that there was just about everything else you can imagine included. Like when you do a typical Google search often times you gotta sift through a lot of garbage, so this would be the default nature of information propagation, or the unintentional parts that implicitly fortify the intent of such a theory.

Creative writing can be fascinating although I personally think there's a grain of truth in any insanity. Neither you nor I have an access to the conversations people hold in private so I don't exclude the possibility of someone fucking with the guy just because I didn't notice it in the public forums. And many people around these parts were and probably still are manipulative bitches, someone any psychologist would describe as having toxic personality. They can cling to a person if there's some perceived weakness or character flaw that could be exploited. On one hand, it's beneficial because you can learn to spot and avoid such people in the so called real life. On the other hand, it sucks because it often kills any genuine cordial relationship you could have or at least it makes you more careful with selecting your acquaintances.

That might have been one of the things that went largely unnoticed. 

Misinformation can even come from what would normally be, for all intents and purposes, a reliable source, e.g., I engaged a live rep at a Volvo site and inquired about these lug nut caps and whether or not they should be removed prior to torquing the nuts, and they said that they should be, but afterwards I thought about checking the tool set in the trunk that comes as standard accessory to see if the supplied lug wrench actually fits the covers or the smaller nut underneath - it does fit the covers.

Those covers aren't cheap, they are solid as fuck, so it makes sense, and I did question the information, and in a very roundabout way I got my answer, eventually. It is a bit trivial, but often times you only have yourself to converge upon what is correct via whatever methods available. it is somewhat sad that the process took so long though.

Then you realize you were taking order from a clown. 
Then you realize it´s been putting your bread on the table. 

Choice has always remained. 
But being able to peek behind the curtain takes a special and rare mind. 
It is an even rarer mind that can inject his own choices within the perceived mechanizations and retain a degree of sanity.
