Sounds like you enjoy the Anna/Tom banter as much as I do, Baphomets.

Meanwhile:

“...Whilst on board the Beagle I was quite orthodox, and I remember being heartily laughed at by several of the officers... for quoting the Bible as an unanswerable authority on some point of morality... But I had gradually come by this time, i.e., 1836 to 1839, to see that the Old Testament from its manifestly false history of the world, with the Tower of Babel, the rainbow at sign, &c., &c., and from its attributing to God the feelings of a revengeful tyrant, was no more to be trusted than the sacred books of the Hindoos, or the beliefs of any barbarian.

...By further reflecting that the clearest evidence would be requisite to make any sane man believe in the miracles by which Christianity is supported, (and that the more we know of the fixed laws of nature the more incredible do miracles become), that the men at that time were ignorant and credulous to a degree almost uncomprehensible by us, that the Gospels cannot be proved to have been written simultaneously with the events, that they differ in many important details, far too important, as it seemed to me, to be admitted as the usual inaccuracies of eyewitnesses; by such reflections as these, which I give not as having the least novelty or value, but as they influenced me, I gradually came to disbelieve in Christianity as a divine revelation. The fact that many false religions have spread over large portions of the earth like wild-fire had some weight with me. Beautiful as is the morality of the New Testament, it can be hardly denied that its perfection depends in part on the interpretation which we now put on metaphors and allegories.

But I was very unwilling to give up my belief... Thus disbelief crept over me at a very slow rate, but was at last complete. The rate was so slow that I felt no distress, and have never since doubted even for a single second that my conclusion was correct. I can indeed hardly see how anyone ought to wish Christianity to be true; for if so the plain language of the text seems to show that the men who do not believe, and this would include my Father, Brother and almost all of my friends, will be everlastingly punished.

And this is a damnable doctrine.”

Gestalt therapist Fritz Perls was famously known to often say, "There are three levels of discussion. Everyday chicken shit, the usual bullshit, and real elephant shit."

Chicken shit is meaningless pleasantries like talking about the weather or asking how you're doing but not wanting a real answer. Bullshit is lies, damn lies, and statistics. Elephant shit is building castles in the air with abstract words no one really understands though many pretend to. Theology and metaphysics are almost always elephant shit.

And that, dear Wolfie, calls for Local H - Fritz's Corner  And complete chicken shit from yours truly.

"I'm not mad

I'm just bored

And everything I do is only because

There's nothing much else for me to do

And that includes you

Messing around with you

Piss away potential

Everyday is a waste

And I'm wasted everyday

There's nothing much else for me to do

And that includes you and that includes you

Messing around with you

You see me now a little bit clearer

The face I make when I'm looking in the mirror

It gives me away

The things that I say

You think you know where I'm coming from

The words I say when I'm playing dumb

It gives me away

It gives me away

One more thing before we go

I've stepped over everyone I know

Everyone I know

You see me now a little bit clearer

The face I make when I'm looking in the mirror

It gives me away

You think you know where I'm coming from

The words I say when I'm playing dumb

It gives me away

It gives me away

It gives me away

I'm always ashamed

I'm always ashamed

And that's no way to be"

Some of Local H reminds me of Filter, for example the song, "Nothing Special."

A duo vs. full band? I'll take a duo over a band any day, especially when lots of talent is involved like the designing and utilizing of a unique guitar/bass setup where 1 very talented individual can play guitar and bass without the need for a band. As a musician myself, I know that the mastery and focusing on one instrument during a live performance is enough for me.

It is said that energy is neither created nor destroyed, and given that the material is equivalent to its' energy divided by the speed of light squared(m = e / c^2), then does it not follow that the material itself is also neither created nor destroyed, but is formed, and rearranged.

If the material be mere illusion, then so be its' destruction as well.

Ultimately, the only thing certain, is uncertainty. The great work be observed with descriptions abound, while logic and explanations falter, all around.

The soul, or, spirit, is no more unique than the electricity that drives any given device. It is not this from which identity arises, but the union of these with diverse physical vessels.
