What is your all's take on Theistic Satanism? Compared to the Atheistic world view of Laveyan Satanism. Even Lavey himself said that if one wishes to practice Theistic Satanism, he doesn't discourage users from doing so. Because he recognizes that having an anthropomorphic being as a focal point in ritual to be necessary if they choose to do so in that manner.

The awareness of self isn't the systemic factor. It would be there from the Lavayen standpoint as it would be from a theistic stand point. Yes, I recognize that it's all work of the mind and can be quantified into psychology. Gnosis is being used on both sides of the fence to achieve the same goal. One is just using a figure head while the other uses the idea of an anthropomorphic being as a conduit along with oneself. By theistic Satanism I mean it being a Tulpa. An entity that our mind creates that operates completely independently of us even though it is just that, a figment of our imagination. Anyone who's a theistic Satanist and is trying to make Satan out to be a "big scary nigger" is an idiot. Just as anyone who would make out their ideology or faith as an intimidation factor. If someone chooses to use that Anthropomorphic idea of Satan to worship, what does it matter? As long as they aren't doing harm to you or anyone you know let them continue to be the oxymorons they are. Occultism itself is just looking for hidden knowledge, albeit through spirits and Gods/Goddesses. However what it is most of the time is just reading.
