Hello, everyone. I am THD, I'm 22 and I'm a moroccan satanist. Not unheard of, one of my friends is a traditional satanist and he's cool, others live in the privacy of their own lives. I joined this forum to talk and get to know some of you folks... Or try to. I've been a satanist since I was 18 years old and took my time to decide how and what I should base my life around. Satan represents the beast, free and wild, within my heart. Lucifer represents the thirst for Knowing and learning as much as I can in this life. I don't believe in none of these two being true deities living in hell knows where. I don't really care if there are actual entities or beings or whatever beyond the veil of our cosmic life, if they do, I don't care! I live life the way I did since I left the religion of lies and violence: deciding that the gods have no hand on whatever happens on earth. I don't care to decide and look for answers and figure out of they exist, if Satan exists, if someone or something else exists. I prefer the lack of divine intervention in my life. All is man-made out of desperation to kill this human loneliness on earth first, and then to control people better too. I don't find theology wrong, in fact I did my fair share of studies on all sort of religions, monotheistic or otherwise, and I decided that the gods, some of them at least, should be archetypes one must work on becoming like one, a man-god, a being who is in full control of their life, someone who definitely does not give credit to dubiously existing beings at best and downright absent slash non-existent ones most likely. I spent all my life depending on Allah and I suffered, which still ruined me to this very day, and I decided on the eve of my 18th birthday that Allah is a sham, that Islam isn't a legitimate religion, a religion based on theft and lies and murder and so and so. Anyway, thanks Zach Black for welcoming me.
