You know... it doesn't take too much effort to create an account on a forum, much less effort than it takes to write posts. So many join with the thought "Maybe, I'll post here, maybe not." And later, they forget about it.

Everybody reads, writing is more niche, and persistence in that is even more niche. A Satanic forum spanning the entire world and how many are writing(rhetorical).

I think most of them join just for bragging right in all honesty....

You could B right. To most of us it is a way of life, Bragging rights kind of pisses me off

I don't like the idea of bothering the shout box with many questions or pseudo-scientific answer that matters for nothing but just annoying people, that's why i don't interfer a lot here in this very site. Unfortunately!

Some people genuinely think they’ll use the site, as Anna mentioned, and they forget. Others might have joined, thought “nah this ain’t for me” and hopped out instead of deleting their account. Other get busy in life and forget to come back. I only came back after getting a gut feeling. This ain't for promotion at all and even if it was then it's so miserable because when people die, get missed or absent as the well known social media websites do, they archive their work like profile, wall and posts instead of deleting them and make it a great memory that will serve for generations and then the things come up for the best. My Wife Passed away last June so I guess Im guilty of not being here until recently again. But I also see members that haven't been here in almost a decade.I guess life happens to all of us!!
