That is a fallacy. All blogs, especially editorials are opinion based. The more baiting the more intentionally inflammatory. Its logical motivation is pissing people off (or at minimum bitching), not the specific holiday. At most you can say I care about *something* enough to exhibit negativity towards a specific holiday.

implying that all the british media back then was propaganda isn't as much of a stretch. as it seems at first. Queen Victoria is historically credited for employing what would later be classed as PR. saying Christmas is used as propaganda is pretty based too because it is and nowadays it's used to make you buy shit. As for hitler he was a big reader and mistakenly thought he was talking a mostly literate audience which is one of many political mistakes he made starting out.implying that all the british media back then was propaganda isn't as much of a stretch. as it seems at first. "I believe anti theism is what MAKES satanism a religion."

You'll catch shit from semantics nazis for calling it a religion, but as far as anti-theism = satanism goes I nearly teared up to read that.

I love using people in AA. They fucking epitomize RHP methodology. They have the bizarre ability to use fluffy ideas (aka: abstractions) as psychodrama enough to be both of comfort and motivation.

But the ultimate example, as the only one of value, is the shit storm litmus test. What do you really need in the shit? Say you need to come with a certain amount of money in a set period of time and you have nothing to bank on.

    A. Light a Santeria candle and hope to win on the 20 dollar scratcher or pray for help to come rescue you from destitution.

    B. Look for what is the most useful thing in accomplishing your goal.

Anti-theism means hope has no value beyond being a desired outcome. Hope that you can accomplish your goal. It is a natural skepticism against the status quo. In any form.

Consider it like Lucy and his flaming sword. That internal fire pitting a personal ethic against all forms of bullshit.

A kid writing himself out of a million dollar will over a right not to believe. Never rational self interest as much as go fuck yourself.

And it is surprising how often belief in imaginary things can trigger it, be it; god, government, or greater good. Anti-theism is also more compatible with critical examination and not, say, seeing space turtles in fucking rocks.

You're free to do with your money whatever you want. Unfortunately, I can't make you earn yet another 50 bucks because apparently it's US only. But I wouldn't opt in even if I had an opportunity because it just looks suspicious to me. And "it just LOOKS suspicious" is enough of a reason for me not to like something and opt in, at least as fas as the money is concerned. With this I go by intuition. You're free to do with your money whatever you want. Unfortunately, I can't make you earn yet another 50 bucks because apparently it's US only. Maybe it is your bass. It's something all consuming. It depends on the person. Some people are consumed by God, so they become priests. Some people are consumed by the drive to be self-made, so they put in the effort to "get rich or die trying" as 50 Cent said. Some people, like that wheelchair scientist are consumed by blackholes. Darwin had a passion or drive that consumed him: he had a deep love for food and finding new things to eat. He went on adventures, sailing around the world in search of exotic foodstuff. Once day he finds finches and notices their beaks. And the rest is history. It's a strong drive. You'll just have to ask people who have strong drives for anything besides sex: martial arts, painting, music, math, writing, whatever, and ask them where they get that drive to do what they do from. They are out there: they are the most successful in their field; the most successful amongst their peers. It come naturally. That some people have tried to explain it in old books in words, may be more a source or confusion.Maybe it is your bass. It's something all consuming. It depends on the person. @TV: There’s nothing wrong with having more than one passion in life. Most people have a passion/drive for sex, and so they use that drive to find people [lovers, GF, BF, etc] to have sex with: and they are very successful at it.

But sometimes, some people develop a drive for something they just love to do, which is not sex. It’s hard to understand, seeing the world with the goggles of a grown person: but children do it all the time. Kids aren't sexual in nature yet, but many kids like to do certain things, such as play video games.

So sometimes people just develop a drive, an all-consuming love for something: Mother Teresa had a passion/drive/love for helping the poor and needy all her life in Calcutta. Jane Goodall had a passion/drive/love for chimpanzees, and so she lived in the jungle with them for many years studying them. It has nothing to do with self-help. It’s just human behavior. But the secret to such people’s success is Persistent Devotion to that passion/drive/love.

When I was in the 4th grade, I knew this one boy named Anthony who had this unusually strong passion/love for dinosaurs. It was all he ever talked about, he knew all their scientific names, and all he wanted to do when he grew up was to become a paleontologist to dig for dinosaur bones. That’s passion. And many people actually do end up being paleontologists where they spend days and weeks out in the middle of nowhere, in some desert, using ice picks and toothbrushes to carefully remove bones from its matrix: and those people Love what they do.

It’s all-consuming and persistent focused devotion. My cousin, when he was practicing being good with the drums and electric/acoustic guitars, has a Focused Devotion/Dedication to his practice, where all he did in the garage was practice for hours by himself, not go anywhere, no hangout with friends: just him and his drums and guitars. Because that’s simply what he loved to do. And he got really good at it as the years went on by.

And so, a way to explain what is happening is how Crowley put it: Love is the Law, Love under Will. You put whatever you have a Love for under your will power, control it, in order to manifest your True Will, your Wyrd, your “Destiny” in life. The key to success in anything that you/we do is single minded, persistent, focused devotion to what we love to do in life. Whatever that might be.

Hundreds of years ago, there used to be this fella named Rothschilds who was a poor Jew in England. Rothschilds had a passion/love of collecting coins. That’s all he did, was collect old coins. And what he did was sell the coins he had to royalty who collected coins also. Meaning, he networked with other people who had the same passion/love as he. The royalty would buy coins from him to add to their collection. And it was from that Rothschilds’ love for coin collecting, that the Rothschilds clan grew to become a very wealthy and powerful family in time.

It’s what Mabon did, the guy I write about in my OP. He has a peculiar interest in Luciferianism. Luciferianism was his forte, it was what he loved to talk about and do. So he started a blog. And he also networked with other Luciferians in many social networks [ning sites]. It’s from his networking ability that he was able to grow an audience of 2000 in such a short period of time. But sometimes, they don’t hang ten! And they drop/quit: they fail the test of Time.

@PJ: Yes, operant is the key word. We’re on the same wavelength! If it works: use it. If it doesn’t: lose it.
