Many Satanists identify as Atheist. It's a term to denote that they don't believe in any god, devil or such in any literal since. I, however do not like the term Atheist any longer. This is thanks the groups like the American Atheists and their ilk. These "Atheists" have given the impression to many that Atheists are liberal, state worshipping, democrats that have gay sex with the Humanist camp.
These "Atheist" groups are anything but atheists. They have simply turned the Christian god into a Government. They cherish the weak. Always in the hunt to raise taxes to provide more food stamps and welfare. They whine and bitch for increased government and vote vote vote for the next lesbian or fag running for office waving a rainbow flag.
Satanism is about worshipping yourself, not the state. We aren't out there asking for food stamps and working in soup kitchens. Charity is seen for what it is a handout to the dregs.
I foresee a large scale increase in those who identify as Satanists as more and more people become sick of the liberal agenda of the Atheist camp.
The Wall
As if Satanists are hard asses and they should be respected as such. I always think of the one that shouts the loudest is the one that needs to look in the mirror the most.
What I find funny about this blog is you take two different labels (three if you count your mini rant on humanism) and try to tell everyone else what it SHOULD be and how YOU see it. That's fine and dandy but it seems to me that the individuals that shout this the loudest often need help seeing past their nose to the real reality of the world around them or they are doomed to repeat a history of the same loud mouths before them; destruction.
Satanists that have this need to be stationary and not fluid .. selfish and callous are a giant issue in this "Modern Satanic Movement". Too much I with a dash of how YOU seem to think you can change the world. Too bad bucko.
You are SO concerned about what other people are doing with their labels that you don't seem to see or listen to your own hypocrisy., Do you not see the irony in your rant while still trying to maintain that you are a Satanist of worth that doesn't give a shit about anything but his own self righteous path?

Yes ignorance is prevalent everywhere. The rant was against the liberal atheist/humanist camp and that they have really only transformed the christian god into a government. I have no issue with the voluntary giving of charity by individuals. My issue is with voting to force others to give and be charitable in the form of voting for higher taxes or making things illegal simply because you want to strip people of individual rights along with personal responsibility because you feel they should live according to your views. It's no different than people who want The Ten Commandments to be the law of the land or Sharia Law.I don't pay taxes. Well besides sales taxes obviously.

As for making things god, the principals are pretty basic in my opinion.
Anything where the questioning is differed to someone else to answer for you.
Anything that becomes the be all and end all of focus (and yes this includes money or even that football team people follow).
On for religious acts,,, I see anything repeated over and over without questioning it's worth can become a religious act. This could be as simple as the person who religiously washes their car on a set day. Or it could be a person quotes a set text without testing it's application and or limits.
Liberalism, like many other titles today seems focused on the surface acts without questioning motives. Yes there are those who invest a large amount of care factor in this but there are some who think of it as an tool, or even those who really don't care. Some even pick a certain side just because it looks like a better fight, where as others want to be on the winning side.There are those that avoid taxes by just going off the grid.
