The tenth Enochian key comes with a warning. It's dangerous to employ unless one has learned to safeguard their own immunity. What exactly does that mean for us atheistic Satanists? How does one guard themselves against something that causes such random wrath and destruction?

You're not an atheist.
You're asking about the dangers of chanting a made up language and how one protects themselves from magic curses.
But I'll answer seriously: Anton needed filler. He decided, "let's just do the exact opposite of what I just said in this last half of the book." Did he really believe, "If you don't believe in the power of magic you will lose all you gained"?
It's likely a deliberate irony.

Perhaps I should've said I-theist? After all that's the term Peter Gilmore used in The Satanic Scriptures. And seeing how I follow the teachings of Anton Szandor LaVey, the man who codified, and formulated the religion of Satanism and wrote the Satanic Bible, I seek answers from those of similar mindset. And why would I seek answers within the pages of the book of Hebrew fairytales regarding anything Satanic?
