walspurgisnaught is an important and fun time of year for satanist and heathens alike. We have the birthday of The Church of Satan, walspurgisnaught ( the witches night) the thinning of the vail. The perfict time to call your damons and May day. Our family has decided to do a ritual for Odin and his descent into death were he retrieved the runes and brought them back with him with some added time for the dead. If anyone is intrested in the rituals we use just let me know i dont mind sharing. Also if someone has any ideas they would like to share about any norths rituals i would love to hear them.

its been a long time since ive done any rituals. would like to discuss rituals for walpurgisnacht and other heathen holidays. thats cool that you do rituals with your family. would like to get my family involved in them too. sent you a friend request.lets chat

I left my ritrual out line at home so i may make changes later
1) cast the rune circle
2) hammer rite
3) rune galdr for ansuz
3) bless the mead
4) Kennings for Odin and invocation
5) Poems, hostory to odin.
6) Rounds to odin
7) rounds to the dead
8) pour libations to the Gods or giving our gifs to them
9) taking in or drinking our gifs from the gods
10) closing the circle
Then we plan a big sacrifical fire, i am making a large othala rune out of a log, we are going to bloddy the log and burn it. This is our last blot todgether with our friends.
Then we eat the big meal i made and sumbal for the rest of the night with our family, friends. Ladvaettirr, ancestors and Alfar
