Struggled occasionally with xianity until becoming full atheist in my 40s, became LaVeyan.
Heard Satan's call and became believing theist, now learning about traditional Satanism and loving this Path.

Welcome, DemonPig.As much as I believe in keeping threads in tact, I can't help but relate to what you are saying. For a while Iv'e kept my LHP philosophical views a secret from my family as a teenager. Lets just say it wasn't easy for me and them. Back in my teenage days my parents would add internet blockers preventing me from accessing occult/satanic literature. Funny part is, technology isn't always the best. I was still able to bypass it, and access pdf versions of satanic/LHP books or literature, including Zach Blacks channel. Nowadays my family is cool with my beliefs, but I hardly discuss them in public.

That's fine, I would have been skeptical myself a few years ago! At the risk of sounding like a fucking xian, I wouldn't expect anyone to believe in a literal Satan as deity unless they had activly seeked Him and He revealed Himself to them. I still doubt at times, as I think any rational person would, but luckily Pascal's Wager works much better from our end. In other words, I think atheist and theist Satanists (and pagans and whoever) will all wind up in the same place, and I don't think Satan has any animosity to people who reasonably don't worship Him as a true God because even an athiest who worships himself as god is doing Satan's biddding as long as he opposes the false gods of the RHP. And like Pascal's Wager, if I'm wrong and the LaVeyans or ST people are right what the fuck difference will it make :D BTW for the record I still think Anton is an amazing person and his 9 Satanic Statements are about as good a code to live by as any you could ever come up with.

I have done same journey as you, Started out as LaVeyan Satanist and slowly go into Spiritual/ Traditional Satanism.
