Like previous years I turned a random place generator to ask a truly important question to the gods of random wave collapse.

"Which NFL team will win the 2022 Superbowl?"

Important question.

Method: "The first place within the lower 48 states on land will be closest to the next NFL champion". It took about 75 refreshes but it finally dropped inside the US.

And it looks like the football gods of random chance prediction have taken Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

I have gone 2.5/7 in previous predictions using this method. 2/4 In the following thread were deemed interesting.

https://www.satanicinternationalnetwork.com/social/forum/topic/2035

These predicted the Kansas City Chiefs correctly (it really likes Mahomes) and picked the EUFA runners-up PSG.

What gets me is this methods ability to take a snapshot of consensus opinion.

Like a different kind of Google search. Might as well have said, "Cosmic Alexa, who is going to win the Superbowl this year?"

Current Superbowl odds:

Kansas City Chiefs +500
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +650
Buffalo Bills +1200
Los Angeles Rams +1400
Green Bay Packers +1400
San Francisco 49ers +1400
Baltimore Ravens +1400
Cleveland Browns +1600

So what say you? Why is random chance so good at consistently picking consensus favorites? And should you go out and put money on the Chiefs now?

EUFA Champions League Final:

"First two pins in European countries (not Russia - excluded for size and Zenit) will be closest to the finalists":

Answer: Liverpool (edging out the Manchester clubs)  vs. Barcelona (edging out the Juventes and PSG).  Though I really want to flip around PSG and Messi-less Barcelona and Ronaldo-less Juventus.

Odds to win Champions League:

PSG+300 (semi-finalist?)

Manchester City+350 (Semi-finalist?)

Bayern Munich+700

Chelsea+800

Liverpool+900 (winner)

Manchester United

Real Madrid+1600

Barcelona+2000 (runner up)

Juventus+2000

Atletico Madrid+2500

Personally I'm going off the above and betting:

The 4 Semi-finalists will be: Liverpool, Manchester City (sorry ManU), PSG, and Barcelona.

That's a hell of a superfecta if correct.

And a few more for fun:

"What country will win the 2022 World Cup in Qatar?"

* This one took 6 refreshes.

Odds:

France - 5-1
Brazil - 11-2
England - 13-2
Argentina - 9-1
Germany - 9-1
Italy - 9-1
Spain - 10-1
Belgium - 11-1

Last one.

"The spot within the lower 48 states closest to the pin will win The NCAA college basketball championship."

Answer: University of Connecticut.

** Note - only mid majors of higher were considered. Non-competitive (one bid) leagues (Yale) excluded.

Not sure if this is Mens of Women's, I did not state gender.  Women are WAY more likely to win, but the men's team has a habit of winning as a higher seed.

Uconn completes the double sweep (Mens and Womens) for the 3rd time.

Odds:

Women's odds don't exist yet, but I guarantee you Connecticut will be a favorite to win it all when they do.

The men currently sit in 28th place tied with; Arizona, Wisconsin, Syracuse, LSU, Creighton, and Oklahoma at +5000 odds.

*********************

Prediction recap:

NFL: Kansas City Chiefs

Champions League: Liverpool (winner), PSG, Manchester City, Barcelona (semi-finalists)

World Cup: Brazil

NCAA Basketball: UCONN (Men's and Womens)

Odds Recap:

** Assuming The UConn women are somewhere around +300, a $100 dollar bet (20 on each) could yield a 1400 dollar payout if all are correct as individual bets.

20 @ 9/1 = 900 = 180
20 @ 5/1 = 500 = 100
20 @ 5.5/1 = 110
20 @ 50/1 = 1000
20 @ 3/1 = 60
