Alright since this is gonna count as necroposting two years late, I'll tell you what I know and believe.
TOTBL was founded by Jon Nodtveidt, infamous murderer, frontman of the Band of all meloblack bands, Dissection. But as well as other notable projects such as The Black and Outbreak. The guy was evil. In the sense of what the vast majority of any human deems things as either good or evil or a mix of both. Good and evil. He is way past the good and evil, such is learned from the path of Azeratan Anti Cosmic Satanism, that we are alive in a prison. That we are alive at all. We have physical bodies, we have needs and desires and fears and so on... It is limiting to an impossible degree when you consider the concept of existence itself is a mistake or a cruel thing in general forced upon Everything by a hateful Deity or Entity seeking the limits of the endless possibilities of non existence. I took that into consideration a lot and decided that, here going along the text and assuming that it's right (I'll give my full opinion later), and that there is a fight between the Limited and the Endless, the Demiurge (YHWH, God, Allah, Zeus, Odin, ...) against the 11 Headed Dragon AZERATE (the Opposer).
That's for context basically. I'm four miles away from sober bear with me.
Jon Nodtveidt and his entourage were anti cosmic satanists. And they saw no reason to abide by the meaningless invisible laws of "good and evil". They were self proclaimed evil. Why did Nodtveit kill that gay algerian man? Not because he's homophobic, nor is he racist, here's a saying by him:
"The only way I’m a racist is that I oppose the human race; all people are equally worthless. No skin colors are better or worse than others. People are so trapped in their own prejudices and thoughts. They would never understand. There is no point in discussing with an insect."
The guy couldn't give two fucks about whether you're black skinned, blue eyed, red haired nobody. The guy hates you and is disgusted by the concept of you.
What I'm aiming at: Misanthropy
They were called the Misanthropic Luciferian Order and they shed the name away abandoning the limitedness of Lucifer and moving onto something greater than a manifestation of it: The Black Light. Gnosis. Yet they kept their hatred towards human beings. Their goal was to ruin the Demiurge's organized system through the most shaking crime against that system they could do. In their book, Liber Azerate, they made an example of Hitler. Saying that, in this single example right at the start of the book, that his second world war did more than shake the very foundations of civilization up until now, something or anything that could cause absolute Chaos and the endless possibilities will happen without something or someone ruling over you, laws/common sense and gods. And it was the single mention of Hitler in the book, they could be labeled as all sort of hateful and never limited to a single hate induced by the color of their skins and the blood in their veins.
And thus: I agree with the original members of the MLO/TOTBL regarding misanthropy, never show your cards, never trust a watched and monitored and surveilled software on your Samsung as famous as Instagram could get.
I do believe the possibility of the idea of Anti Cosmic Satanism as a whole. But here's the thing: Azerate and the Demiurge have no control over this world. At all. Might as well pretend that they don't exist? Because it's a question one could never fucking very, no matter what. It's a gamble and to me a very convincing one. I have no interest in worshiping the aspects of the Opposer, be it Iblis, Fenrir, Shiva or Mictlantecuhtli. No matter how comfortable it might sound like you have likeminded gods by your side? They don't and won't do shit until Something happens. Fuck knows what.
But yeah, that's it. Dissection is one of my favorite bands too.
