I was thinking about making this post a while back. I hardly post on the "Drugs" forum since I am not comfortable about putting my information out here. I prefer to keep my life private as it is. In the past I recently came across "legal" mushroom edibles being sold in gas stations and vape shops. You can even buy these "legal" stuff off the internet. I have had my fair share of doing real psychedelics in the past. A lot of these "legal" shroom edibles are synthetics. Their has been a lot of word that has been going around that most of these "legal" mushroom chocolates and gummies contain something called 4-Aco-DMT. 4-Aco-DMT was developed by Albert Hoffman who created LSD. 4-Aco-DMT is a synthetic psychedelic that mimics the effects of a psilocybin trip. These "legal" mushroom companies don't publicly come out about adding 4-Aco-DMT, since this compound is in the grey area of legality. It's basically stuck on the FDA'S ridiculous drug scheduling laws. I am still a user of the "legal" mushroom edibles that's being sold out publicly. But I am pretty careful on the brands I get, a lot of these "legal" mushroom brands from what I have heard are laced with Kratom and some other ugly shits. I have however stuck to a few legit brands that don't have the lacing issues. Have some of you ever tried the "legal" stuff? What are your thoughts? I find it interesting of how history tends to repeat itself. It's very interesting how LSD and Psilocybin were the big things in the 60's, and now you're seeing a popular comeback of psychedelics in the 21st century.

I don't live too far from the Netherlands, and you can get magic truffles there (legally). You used to be able to get mushrooms too, they made them illegal circa 2007.

I don't have alot of experience with psychedelics, I've done shrooms and truffles (which are basically the same in terms of the molecules they contain).
I've also tried San Pedro years ago, but it had no effect. You can legally pick up peyote cacti, and grow them here in Belgium (and in most countries), and I had picked up the San Pedro cut from a growshop here. I had talked with the guy who worked there, and he had picked up on my curiousity for these things. You can still find San Pedro cuts on certain headshop websites proper to Belgian legislation.

I've also heard about LSD analogues being legal in headshops and such, but those can quickly become hit by the legistlation once the hype gets out about the specific molecule. Some of these LSD analogues do sound cool. 1P-LSD is not illegal everywhere, for example.

I didn’t know these legal “mushrooms” had 4-ACO-DMT. I always thought they were just bare bones fly agarics. Fly agarics with no adulterants added don’t make you trip at all. I ate one once in Washington. They grow everywhere out there. I will admit, I’m curious what the effects would be of 4-aco-DMT. I’ve tried real DMT a few times and had some really cool experiences, but also some really bad ones. I’m wondering if 4-aco-DMT is in the same ballpark.

4 aco dmt mimics a shroom trip. It's entirely different then regular DMT.
