Apple products have been inadvertently effecting my Satanism | Forum

So I have been a user of Apple products since 2018. It started out with just an IPhone, then I got an Apple Watch, then a HomePod, an Apple Home setup, etc. It was all fine and dandy until I did the Apple Home setup. Long story short, the only smart bulbs that I could find that are compatible with Apple Products are the ones Apple sells directly. Turns out, they are super dim. I found out that they intentionally make them dim to reduce “light pollution” in cities. Well, with these smart bulbs installed, I can’t read print books. Like, I literally can’t see what’s on the pages because my lights are so dim. So I haven’t read any of my Satanic literature in like 2 years. Well in that two years, my Satanism was starting to fade. I became less interested and my beliefs were becoming more agnostic. Today, I was reaching for a DVD and saw my Satanic Bible on my shelf (it’s next to my DVDs). I decided that I needed to enrich my mind with some Laveyan philosophy, so I said fuck it and went out to my car to read up to page 128. That’s just what I needed to reinvigorate my Satanism. Now I’m interested again. But that’s not all. Also, my choices of Satanic literature are few and far between on Apple Books. I think whoever curates the selection there has a problem with Satanism. So I’m seriously considering just dumping Apple products all together. It’s going to be a hard choice to make. I’ve invested thousands of dollars into the Apple ecosystem, and I regularly use an Apple Watch at my work to various different tasks that make me more productive. In a way, my work performance kind of depends on my Apple Watch. This is going to be tough.

It can be healthy to vary the brands of our products and avoid becoming loyal or dependent on any one company.

I use a Kobo Libre Color ebook.  A bit more pricey but with more features than the Kindle.

I almost purchased the Steam Deck a while back, but went with the Legion Go at the last minute.

In each case and more I just pulled up some comparison videos that showcased the various competitors and chose the one right for my needs.

It's never too late to start exploring different tools! A gradual transition is tough but worth it.  Sounds like you've had a light bulb moment in realizing that.

You do realize that their are plenty of PDF versions about Satanism that you can actually find and download on the net? Also what you could be experiencing on feeling as if your identity is fading could be a burnout that you are having.
