After seeing some of the super progressive, Mamdani style candidates get elected in New York State primaries, I foresee a wave of candidates get elected in 2028 that will be super hostile to right wing Christians. I think a Mamdani, AOC style government will be elected in 2028 that will target Christians. Just look at what happened in Seattle last year when right wing Christians tried to hold an event at Cal Anderson Park in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Various attendees were assaulted and basically run out of the city. This will become national and you will see lawfare and outright killing of Christians. I’m far from Christian, but I don’t think anyone should be persecuted for their beliefs as long as they follow the law. The same thing happened to Satanists during the Satanic Panic. Only now, it will be reversed. It won’t necessarily be Satanists who will be persecuting Christians, instead it will be gay/trans leftist cults unleashing campaigns of hate. I actually think many Satanists will end up siding with Christian’s against these extreme leftists. It will be interesting to see.

I have seen nothing to suggest that Mamdani and AOC seek to target Christians. If they are targeting anything, it's the billionaire class - which the table-flipping Jesus would have wanted.
Whether we like it or not, Christians are still the majority ; no one would benefit from such violence, no candidate would benefit from harming the majority of the voting base.
That said, as someone in the queer world, I do hear some troubling rhetoric from time to time, so I can sympathize with your fear. Some do give off the vibe that others not part of 'the tribe' are the enemy. I feel it is the result of echo chambers and generally too much time on the internet - a pitfall that anyone in any social group can succumb to.
