Granted. However the point I'm making is that just because some one says their failings are not their own fault, does not mean they are not taking responsibility, it may very well be the fault of others, even if the person has APD according to doctor know it all's limited understanding about a phenomenon he knows nothing about. Further, my point is doctor know it all's blanket judgment/assessment means nothing on the individual basis. And so no one's, even an "APD"'s failings can't be automatically dismissed based on doctor know it all's taking things at face value, thinking he knows what he's talking about, because his degree gives him the magical power of knowing what he's talking about, though he may not know at all in actuality.
You can't escape from your disorders no matter how many excuses you make. The psychiatrist is educated in mentally illness and disorders and it's that kind of doctor I will recommend to you because he will know better than me.
The point I am making what you don't seem to comprehend is that even a monkey/ape/chimpanzee/gorilla... can be educated in things, including psychiatry. Does that mean the ape would necessarily know what it's talking about, just because it's going on face value, referencing it with it's memorized information and going from there?
The point is that in my book I don't put vested interest in the words of know it alls who gives one diagnosis based on arbitrary or even superficial face value surface things.
I have seen people labeled bipolar, only to have the label changed to PSTD, I have seen people labeled PTSD simply for being in a car accident, becoming stuck in that moment and so relive that moment every time they go for a drive in the same context as the original accident- sitting in the passenger seat, going round a sharp turn. Now you are honestly telling me that a person has become permanently disordered because they choose to remain stuck in a moment reliving it every time context is there, because doctor know it all has convinced them and the world of it, when they can easily delete such things?( I have got over many of things doctor know it all would call post trauma) If so, then I am not the one who needs some kind of help. Pills don't make things go away. Pills don't solve the problem, they only mask things and at times exasperate things; make shit worse than were to begin with. Despite what you say, I am in agreement with scientology over the bogusness of psychiatry, an institution of quake know it alls. Period.
