Off rip: coffee shops. Ideally, one of those "artsy" / "study" type ones that cater to college kids and theater majors. Stick around a bit, see what turns up. The local music scene is also worth checking out - whatever type of music you suspect would attract the types of people you're looking to run into. On the whole, either would be much more worth-while than signing up for a church anyway, since the literature is out there and the most interesting types are those who've read it, have their own take on things, and can think of better things to do with their time here on earth than attend church.Off rip: coffee shops. Probably. I'm not sure that I'd recommend just meeting "any" satanist. Granted, you're a grown-ass woman, and I'm not your dad, but still something worth bearing in mind - three things, actually - is

    1) people have wildly different ideas of what a "satanist" is or believes. There is no consensus. It's the debate that never ends. You're definitely going to want to confirm that what they mean by "satanist" is what you mean by "satanist". As it goes, more often than not, you'll find that you're speaking entirely different languages.

    2) The very words "satanist" and "satanism" attracts a fair number of people with serious mental health issues. Though I personally find this morbidly fascinating, I can see why other more sensible people may have a problem with this. Some are crazy in a fun/cool/creative sort of way. Some are just crazy in the poison your pets when you're not looking sort of way. Shit's real. :|

    3) chances are none of the above really matters, the end game is to hook-up. This is not always a bad thing. Human nature is human nature.

Random question, But when you saySatanism could attract people with serious mental health what do you mean by that because I want to be a psychologist so I’m just curious

Sure. What I meant was not that it "could" but rather that it "does". Stick around, poke and prod, you'll see it's a magnet for nut-jobs. Autism, bi-polar, schizophrenia, etc - it just draws people with these afflictions to it. It's an occupational hazard. Admittedly, I would say anyone - including myself - who is at all drawn to the word definitely has their "quirks". There's no getting around that. But some of these people are literally just toys in the attic type crazy. Like yourself, I find this fascinating. To poke and prod, but always at arms length. Experience has shown that even the seemingly sane ones often turn out to be off their rocker. I would advise keeping your guard up. As a moderator here I deal with the ugly aftermath of these sorts of relationships pretty frequently. It's not a fun job, but - to your point, as an amateur psychologist myself - I get to see a lot of interesting things that are only interesting because they don't effect me personally. Things that would be down right alarming if they did. Keep your guard up. Most of these cats is crazy. it's usually the ones who ONLY talk to your through PM. Long story short: you can't summon demons, it's all in your head, and people's whose heads are filled with notions to the contrary are either con-artists or just plain crazy. This covers about 80% of the pitfalls. The other 15% are even worse. 5% are basically normal people who just have strange world-views... eventually get a feel for who is who through trial and error. With luck, not too much by way of error. If it sounds crazy, probably is. Of course, if the idea of talking to people who truly believe they are aliens is somehow interesting to you - you'll find these types in no short supply. You can't so much as swing a stick without hitting someone who thinks they're either Lilith or has some sort of deep connection with her. There sure are a lot of those.Sure. What is a satanic romance? Is it different from other relationships?

There's no accepted definition of "Satanic Romance"

The word "Satanic" either means exactly what is in the dictionary, or is like a Rorschach test: an ink blot that prompts you to say "it looks like___"

I stick with the dictionary definition, in which case a satanic romance would imply that I am talking about an incredibly cruel and sadistic romance, which is (I think fortunately) the type of romance I've never had cause to kindle.

Others - the majority of others, actually - take a more liberal approach to the meaning of the word "satanic".

Likely interpretations would encompass relationships that are not-generally-considered-acceptable:

    Examples:
    - A romance outside of the bounds of marriage or a committed relationship. Adultery.
    - A romance with a member of your own immediate family. Incest.
    - A romance with something outside of your own specifies. Bestiality.
    - A romance with someone of your same gender where there is strong social discouragement from such behavior. Homosexuality.
    - A romance with someone outside of your race or class. <I don't know what the word for that is>

Another interpretation would be that "love" does not trump carnal urges.
Something simple as guiltless sex with who and whatever on a whim. (of course, I'm not sure how "romantic" that is... but you could probably spin-it to say "romance is a lie")

Of course, there's nothing stopping you from asserting what a "satanic romance" should mean - as long as you articulate why you think that is in a manner that is consistent or at least somewhat-related to whatever Satan represents to you.

First place to start: articulate what Satan means or "looks like" to you. It is a Rorschach test - a shadowy ink-blot, that you will eventually flesh-out. The ic and (maybe) ism follows afterwards.

Yes, very different. For starters it's usually hedonistic. I prefer abominations of the christian lord myself.. Pretty much anything NOT man/woman. I like the term 'breeders' here because that's what generally happens when those two types of people get together without contraception.

This preference works out fine, because the city where I live there are literally 7 neighborhoods where strait people are the minority. Children there are four legged. You can tell this because there are more rainbow flags then American flags. But that is my personal deviation, others opt for swinging, sex orgies, or S&M.

The relationships tend to be either incredibly possessive or totally open.
