The widely accepted conflation of "Salam" and "Islam" is relatively recent. Not much traction of "Islam as a religion of peace" until Malcom X said it.

Muslims here (the Haj looking ones) really are peaceful for the most part. Now the ones you may identify as a "Back to West Africa" Nigerian, with names like Jamal Abdul Rafiki Ali are the bible belt abortion clinic bombers of Islam.

Many won't acknowledge white people as human, will openly treat "whitey" like shit while playing every available race card in the process. When the mountain comes to Mohammed white babies must die.

The only other popular American religion coming close is Rastafarian, a Christian offshoot.
