I'm interested in finding more literature with information about theistic Satanism. Is there any that people would recommend?

I've read The Devil's Bible and The Devil's Disciple by a guy who calls himself Myrmydon who founded The Cathedral of the Black Goat.

I've also read a book called Satanism: A Beginner's Guide to the Religious Worship of Satan and Deamons Volume 1: Philosophy. By someone called Brother Nero.

And also The Sinister Tradition from The Order of Nine Angels by Anton Long.

Are there any others that people would recommend? Advise would be appreciated.

I mentioned 4 examples of Satanic literature in the original post; I am asking for further examples that people would recommend.

Anything by the ONA is a great place to start. I believe all of their material is available in PDF format. Michael W Ford is a Luciferian but seems more Deist than Theist. I've found you'll find more by typing in "Traditional" or "Medieval" Satanism. Hope that helps.

I've always enjoyed the writings of Diane Vera at her Theistic Satanism website..Her writing is comprehensive! I wish she would come back to the Satanist scene again soon.

Also at my blog, Left Hand Path Books, I review books on Satanism, mostly those of the spiritual or theistic variety. In the past few years there's been more books written by those who are spiritual - Check it out at Left Hand Path Books

Merc: You could try the library of the B.O.S. too, if you can't get the books there, they will give you a long lists of books that you can purchase at some occult libraries.

Quote from AK Theistic Satanism is either an oxymoron, or a honey-pot for morons. Either way, you lose.
Not really.

As for the post : The Bible is a good start.. see the Books of Jov, The New Testament and so on.

Nero is also a good resourse if you can digest it properly, in my opinion.

ONA- of course.

As for the LHP in general i would also recomend the works of the Dragon Rouge

Exactly that.

See, the thing about faith is it requires 0 epistemological justification. You can have faith in literally anything, and if that thing is some superstition that is completely lacking in any sort of verifiable evidence, it is exactly equal to every other faith belief lacking same.

So believing in old Father Satan and believing in jesus of nazereth is exactly the same. Both are intellectually bankrupt and ultimately LARPing.

Quote from AK It's just the darker end of faith's spectrum. It's still faith,  though, and the opposite of faith is doubt.

All you've done is switch the labels on the cans. You're no different than a Christian.

Believe nothing. Purge all. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Theistic satanism can fit the form if the act of worship itself is a core act. It just takes imagination or a quantum window.

When the belief ritual and methodology mirrors its 'opposition' it just fails. If there was a totalitarian nation state that banned everything but the scientific method and demonized baseless faith worship forcing core believers into heterodox lifestyles it starts to fit the form. You just have to assume this core can also be wired for blind devotion in a world of skeptics.

But I'm also told one can hold the position it's not in response to a societal trigger and can be anything, so long as it doesnt seek acceptance, or bears no reference to the opinion or influence of anyone else, regardless of where that aligns. [Insert 'carebears' here]

Then satanism becomes like getting quantum and Newtonian physics to agree.

From an dogmatic christian point of view, C.G. Jung was an outsider:

Reporter: Do you believe God exists?
Jung: I don`t believe, I know.

Figure it out.

Due to our nature, we can believe whatever we want, if we can.
......
Yet, some may come to identify with archetypal images.. or just belong to it. It can exist and one of It`s atributes is not doubt.. Satan did not doubt God when he pointed to Job`s core of faith:
He knew. Maybe one should get acquinted with some of O9A and others theorys about.. some aspects of life and animals before opening their mouth on important topics.

As far his seems to be poor forum, but people know english grammar.
I don`t. Such a shame and pity.

Have a nice day.
