I managed to read The Satanic Bible and started on some other similar books but I'm not very good at reading; I find it much easier to watch, touch and listen etc. to learn stuff. I feel like books are probably the best place to find real knowledge so I'm gona stick at the reading but until then, I'd like information I don't have to go through a book to read yet.
So, it said in TSB and I've heard that within occultism, ritual/magic is a very personal, subjective thing. I'd just like some advice getting started using rituals to manipulate my own mindset/psychology.
I believe that information comes to through your senses, to your mind and then your body reacts, affecting the physical world around you. If you put certain symbols/imagery, smells, sensations etc, then it changes the way you think, then act, so technically it has a physical impact on the world.
Can you think you think of any simple rituals I can do to help me develop more motivation? Or anything to sort of slay personal demons and fight negative aspects of myself? What symbolism, words, anything could I use?
