Spiritual Satanism - My Journey | Forum

For the past couple of weeks I've been reading up on Spiritual Satanism. For those of you that don't want to read this long post, short story is...it's bullshit. Thanks for stopping by the thread.

Those who want to know more about what I did / experienced here's the breakdown. There's a few suppositions that you have to come into this with. Each of these builds on each other and together create this paradigm plausible enough for me to at least check out.

1) Chakra's / Bio-metric Energy Fields

Some people refer to this as your aura or the energy that you emit. We have proven with modern devices that these do exist. Maybe not chakra's but some sort of energy field around our body. These magnetic fields appear as rays of light. Now mix in some yogi chakra mumbo jumbo and I can see where this viewpoint comes from. Or the Asians call it Ki like the practice in Akido and various other martial arts. We've all seen Kung Fu monks. You get the idea. Here's a link with some actual scientific evidence to back up what I'm saying so you at least know it's plausible.

http://realitysandwich.com/137161/energy_and_our_energetic_fields/

2) Our reality is multidimensional

The study of quantum mechanics with a little help from Einstein has proven that there are at least 8 other dimensions if not more. All separated by wavelengths and frequencies. Since light is energy and therefore has wavelengths. Kind of ties in with presupposition #1

Article here just to get your brain going on some Einstein Proof.

Scientist have been able to send particles of light back in time and are exploring all kinds of options that are proving these theories everyday. I'm sure we've all heard of the drug DMT right? The Spirit Molecule. Supposed links to another dimension on that stuff too. Now the big question is what is in these other dimensions? Again, it's plausible that these dimensions exist. Stay with me, last presupposition.

3) Astral Travel is Real

The Monroe Institute is probably the most well known organization that promotes astral travel. But what is astral projection you ask?

is an interpretation of out-of-body experience (OBE) that assumes the existence of an "astral body" separate from the physical body and capable of travelling outside it.

His programs basically teach you to change the vibrational frequency through activating your pineal gland (Which naturally produces DMT) thus accessing this astral body. See how it's all tying together now? Tibetan monks actually have a book called "The Book of The Dead". Which is actually a guide for your astral body once you're dead.

There are also binaural beats that are supposed to help your brain change the wavelength and assist you with changing your vibrational frequency. The concept being two different frequencies are played in ear and your brain translates that into the correct frequency. "Because the 'beats' themselves are created in your brain The wordbinaural means “having or relating to two ears.” It works like this: each ear receives a slightly different frequency at the same time, and the brain perceives the tone that is the difference of the two."

Thus enabling your brain to go into delta, theta, alpha, beta brainwaves. Supposedly Theta is where all the astral travel / lucid dreaming takes place.

Obviously I thought this was all crazy talk so I did some Google-fu and found out about the Farsight Institute. These guys do both public and private viewing sessions with the government. All documented and verifiable. They're able to predict events in the future. Describe buildings and landmarks of things that don't even exist yet. Things that will blow your mind. If you take the time to look.

I know I probably lost you there on that last one, but even just keeping the first 2 presuppositions in mind. It was enough evidence for me to investigate further.

Now I could write a book on the information I found and researched for each on of those presuppositions, but just do me a favor and for the sake of this thread, entertain the idea that these may be grounded in some sort of truth. As Satanist I expect you to ask why, and challenge me on each one of these things. I don't present them as fact, just what I researched and wanted to show how one lead to the other.

Spiritual Satanism

To start my journey I headed over to Kickasstorrents.com and downloaded all of E.A. Koettings books. If he thought I was going to pay $400 or whatever it is for his ebooks. He's lost his fucking mind. He's basically the authority on ritual magic and spiritualism on the LHP (online at least). I'm sure there are others that would take this claim to fame.

His paradigm is that there are personable forces that we can cause to manifest from the astral into this dimension that have an actual affect on our physical reality. That there is not separation from the physical / non-physical. These entities aren't evil or good. They are just a force or current that likes to act. If you put yourself as a God these entities will work with you to accomplish goals. It's a different value system then give and take, it's accomplishing goals together.

See why I needed to explain the suppositions before throwing that out there? LOL!

The problem with this is that people spends months, sometimes years trying to astral project. The people I found on YouTube, the books I've read, even people I've talked to. All said it took them hourly practice for extended periods of time before they could actually astral project. Now E.A. is selling books on evocation and invocation to people who don't even understand the theoretical foundation of multidimensional or astral travel and are going to try and summon entities that may or may not be there.

LET'S DO IT!

I said fuck it, let's go for it. I wanted to give it an honest try and see if anything happened.

The first thing I needed was some incense. Apparently Frankincense is all the rage with the demons. I went to Walmart and got the best one I could find. I needed some white candles because white is a combination of all the colors. It includes all the wavelengths so it's acceptable if black can't be found.

I then needed a Sigil for the demon I was trying to evoke. I created my ritual based on the books from EA Koetting and had everything set up. Now according to him the demon may not manifest (how ironic), but if I call it....it will come. Here's part of the ritual from his books, so you can get an idea.

-Meditate

-Charge the sigil (gaze at it and imagine it's calling the spirit)

-Summon all magical power

Itz rachu mantantu vespacha kaltamu Itz ranta mant kala mant atzu belt tazu Vaskalla itz rachu kantantu velchatza

-Summon the Spirit

Altash, Faltu, Kanta, Exune, (spirit) kama kalla Faltu."

-Call Spirit Forth

“Etsel Mala’kel Test’zel Sam’tan’el Itz Retz Nama’tel Itz Hel Asta’Rel Kama’Kala, Kama’Kala Kama’Kala Satan’el

(Spirit) Kama (Spirit) Kala (Spirit), Kama’Kala Vel.

Me Vaskalla Me Solvalla Me Res’Alla Ah’tan’tel

If anything I viewed this as a time to reflect on my goals and focus on my intent and what I wanted. I'm a fan of transcendental meditation which has been proven to help with brain function and increase grey matter. If I also talked to an imaginary friend for a few minutes no big deal.

I would meditate and try to induce the Theta / Gamma brainwaves required for spiritual connection with the astral realm (that may or may not exist). I would assume it's just as hard for them to communicate with us as it is for us to communicate with them.

I tried this every other day for about 30 minutes for the past 2 weeks. Nothing manifested in my living room. No poltergeist activity. None of the changes or suggestions I requested ever even remotely happened. I basically sat like a idiot in my living room like an idiot for 2 weeks trying this out.

Conclusion

Maybe I didn't try for long enough. Maybe I can't induce the brainwaves to project into the astral. Maybe this is all just delusional bullshit. I tend to think the latter. If anything this little dive off the left hand path has just reinforced my position as a Atheistic Satanist. I think Spiritual Satanism is just painting a sheep black. Instead of crosses and bibles you have sigils and incense. Still looking toward something else to do what you're incapable or unwilling to. This was a fun journey and I'm sure I could have fallen deeper down the rabbit hole, but I think I learned enough about what was out there and got exposed to something new.

Something that I can take away from this experience is the power on intent. Focusing so hard on a goal or situation that you force it happen. I don't really think you need ritual or demons to do this, but some people may.

Is there any shred of factual information that there is something else out there other than this crude flesh?

That's up to you to decide....

I can actually appreciate the making of a sigil. I tend to partake every once in awhile myself. Mild psychodrama or full out evoking of whatever may have you can be fun and a great way to ground or let out some stress.

My personal view on the subject is that it is all in one's head. The human mind is a powerful thing. Meditation and ritualization can change the way your brain behaves. The East schools of thought were and still are far ahead of the West on these practices.

What comes to mind is a scientific experiment weighing the effectiveness of acupuncture. There was a group that was given medication, a group that was given "fake acupuncture", and a group that was given "real acupuncture".

The patients that received both "real" and "fake" acupuncture reported feeling better than the group that was only given medication. In short, the tangible effectiveness is irrelevant. What matters is what the mind perceives as effective. Our subconscious doesn't rule out the supernatural, even if our rational consciousness uses deductive reasoning to decide otherwise.

My 2 cents.

Also, shoot me over those AE docs. calvarygraves AT yahoo DOT com

Also, the new scientific way...

Fascinating stuff.

Hah, this was interesting.

I tend to agree with James. It's pretty much all placebo and whatnot.

I like to ritualize occasionally, and if I do it right, Ill end up in a bit of a trance for a while. It's hard to describe, but it is kind of fun and interesting, and it helps clear my head and set my focus on a goal, so it is useful too.

Also, lol, ya nearly lost me when you started in on quantum physics.

Ken: there are  a lot of Christian groups that teach astral traveling,   you will find them in the gnostic christian movement,  they teach alquemy ,  esoteric teaching, they mix their teachings with the east ,Hindu, and mayan,  they practice some mantrams ( magical words) to get out of their bodies and walk in the dimension of the demons, and the dimension of the angels, they use the power of their minds to get the semen fluid through the chacras  of the spine to  arrive at their brains to become illuminated ones  as Jesus . I have never agreed with them because I am an unbeliever, and I could get out of my body  without their teachings and I prefer my semen fluid to come out of my body and not force it  to get up to my brain. In many cases the evil hand of the religions of the right hand path is handling that, but the left hand path has a lot of that too, as James STL 666 says: " It's all in one's head" ,  I like that, everything is in your brain.

Very interesting to keep hearing the same thing from a few people. I heard it a lot while I was practicing.

"Magik is in the mind of the magician."

I always thought that was bullshit when I heard it. Now I understand what it means. It's hard to judge something like this objectively when you haven't experienced it.

Long story short, I still think that Spiritual Satanism is a bunch of self delusional people who are so far down the rabbit hole that even the red pill from the Matrix can't bring them back to civilized society.

I'm glad I tried to out for myself. I researched for months, tried practicing for a couple months. I'm always open to at least hearing / reading about anything in this genre.

For now, it's time to keep moving along the LHP and find something new to explore.

Really VenusSatanas? I'd love to have a link. Did they copy what I wrote, or did you mean I took information from there? Either way I'd love to see what you found. I posted this in a public forum so it wouldn't surprise me. Brian Indeed good sir! I think that's where the "fun" begins. Is that just your imaginary friend or is something really communicating with you. I love the comparison to Christianity. Maybe God is talking to me! I guess the Joy of Satan is the poster child for Spiritual Satanism. I never mentioned that site once. Besides I thought that was VenusSatanas. ;-)
