In Laveyan Satanism, the concept of Greater Magic is given a neutral and amoral colouration whose leanings cannot be moralistically reduced to being either "white" or "black." I also understand that Greater Magic involves ritual and ceremony in order to focus one's emotional energy for a specific purpose.

My Question: Is the individual experience of Magic in Satanism subjective? If yes, isn't its practice akin to Theistic rituals obtainable in traditional religions? If no, what objective mode(s) does Satanism engage towards its practice?

Rex-
Although I do not practice greater magic anymore I would agree that it is subjective.  Most all religions practice ritual. Although I personally do not put any validity in magic, I do understand the placebo effect.

A quick research I just carried out indicated that the Placebo Effect is realisable through a subjective experience which engages Brain Magic; Brain Magic whose processes are revealed and explained by neuroscience. That, I think, assumes an objective mode whose practical path conforms to Reality. An example of this is how same reveals how our bodies’ response to treatment is heavily influenced by our expectations, prior experiences, our beliefs, and the social cues that surround us.

My Question: What mode does Satanism engage towards attempting a reductio that sees subjective experiences in Magic being given a practical approach that conforms to reality as demonstrated above?
