On the other hand, the reactions people give and what people thibk are valuable information about them. For example, I ran into an old friend I hadn't seen in years, and when I told him I was a Satanist he let out a stifiled chuckle which indicated he thought I was an idiot. After a little bit of him condescending to me, I knew that's his default way of dealing with things so I discarded the bitch.
I would honestly love to see a demystification of Satanism as a whole. It still retains a rather 'taboo' vibe, and many people would rather keep it hush-hush and in the closet, so to speak. As a Satanist, I welcome people to question, discuss, challenge and strive to understand the base philosophy of it all. To open their eyes and see that's it's not 'evil' as it's been portrayed. Running around yelling 'Hail Satan' is not always effective, lol.. So, I joined here to to meet people and learn about it more, myself. Other views, philosophies and other personal experiences that can help me grow so that I in turn can help spread awareness in my community.I fully understand what you were getting at here. I am among the few that are proud Satanists..and I would also like to see more pride and courage..as well as strength within the organization.
I wasnt talking about a view, I was.talking about a deeper mental process that determines my old 'friend's' views. Not just on Satanism, but most everything.I get that brother. I still get snarles and eye brow raises. Nothing short of what I expected to receive. What I do(if you even care to know..if not all well)when people approach me and ask such questions..I stay silent for a moment and study their face..and feel the energy. Nine times out of ten I simply tell then nothing.
I couldn't agree more. Well said
However, how are people supposed to learn about it, or this site, if no one saying anything ever. I certainly didn't come to this place by finding it myself. I was told about it and it piqued my interest so much that I ended up on my path that lead me here. ...
Anyone who can’t manage to find SIN and its like by simply typing “satanism forum” into Google either probably isn’t good Satanism material, or not serious about learning aspects of the topic. If anything, there’s probably far too much endless yammering about Satanism. The “occult,” i.e. hidden, has indisputable value….
Satanism, practiced earnestly, boldly plows through the solipcistic sewage spraying from most of the other social media outlets. While these spaces are not (thankfully) ideal, nor are they meant to be, they are none the less sacred. Like a favorite abandoned building with a basement reaking of piss...but virtual.
