What are your goals within Satanism? | Forum

I am curious to know what kind of goals you have being a part of SIN. Did you join to grow in Satanism? Learn about Satanism? For me one of my goals for example is to get SIN more active. Alot of people have sort of put SIN on the back burner..forgetting to ever use that part of the stove.

I couldn't agree more. I just want to see more activity on SIN. With all of the new members..and people who join the site. There are alot of people who joined the site from two to three plus years ago that aren't active..hell it happens..all I'm saying is I'd like to see more activity.
Rich6Belial6Wilkinson6 Member
That is correct. But it is what it is. The active one's are what make the difference.

Perhaps, we need some trolls and a couple of new socks. Or better, unblock Zach's old buddy, JK.

Now..anna..as silly as that sounds and all haha..that wouldn't be the right kind of activity I am speaking about. I'd like to get a grip on what it is some of you(active members/users) have as far as goals in aiding satanic progression..and or what it is you're in it for so to speak. Basically a "get to know" my fellow brothers and sisters kind of thing.

I would honestly love to see a demystification of Satanism as a whole. It still retains a rather 'taboo' vibe, and many people would rather keep it hush-hush and in the closet, so to speak. As a Satanist, I welcome people to question, discuss, challenge and strive to understand the base philosophy of it all. To open their eyes and see that's it's not 'evil' as it's been portrayed. Running around yelling 'Hail Satan' is not always effective, lol.. So, I joined here to to meet people and learn about it more, myself. Other views, philosophies and other personal experiences that can help me grow so that I in turn can help spread awareness in my community.

@Grymmoire: What does a individualist care what other people think? If someone isn't interested or can't take the time to understand what Satanism is vs what they think Satanism is -- to hell with them. It really doesn't matter if the unnamed & unwashed masses understands or not. I have a right nut and a left nut they can kiss either.

On the other hand, the reactions people give and what people thibk are valuable information about them. For example, I ran into an old friend I hadn't seen in years, and when I told him I was  a Satanist he let out a stifiled chuckle which indicated he thought I was an idiot. After a little bit of him condescending to me, I knew that's his default way of dealing with things so I discarded the bitch.

Everyone's views differ. Your views are not mine, and mine are not yours. That is the whole base point of Satanism, is it not? That it is an individualistic religion tailored to the self and the person practicing? I don't go around "preaching the gospel" to every and any willing person, or even bring it up at all. Maybe that's what it seemed like by what I said previously. However, how are people supposed to learn about it, or this site, if no one saying anything ever. I certainly didn't come to this place by finding it myself. I was told about it and it piqued my interest so much that I ended up on my path that lead me here. So sure, if someone approaches me and asks me "So, you're a Satanist? How 'bout that" yes. I'm going to tell them and discuss things with them.

Otherwise, I was simply giving my ideal to the questions provided, and that's all.

I wasnt talking about a view, I was.talking about a deeper mental process that determines my old 'friend's' views. Not just on Satanism, but most everything.

I fully understand what you were getting at here. I am among the few that are proud Satanists..and I would also like to see more pride and courage..as well as strength within the organization.

I get that brother. I still get snarles and eye brow raises. Nothing short of what I expected to receive. What I do(if you even care to know..if not all well)when people approach me and ask such questions..I stay silent for a moment and study their face..and feel the energy. Nine times out of ten I simply tell then nothing.

@Rich: I'll try try that. Immediately I think that it's possible that they would give away a bit about their expectations that way by making them wait. Are you familiar with Paul Ekman?
Rich6Belial6Wilkinson6 Member
Exactly. If they truly care and give a shit what you have to say..you'll feel it. Even then I tell them very little. More often than not I ask then what is their basis for wanting to know such information..kinda feel then out..because if it's one thing I hate..is wasting my time. Paul Ekman? I'm not sure..name is familiar. Might have seen it once or twice bedore somewhere..so I am not sure.

Thanks for a refresher. I have once heard of him..but had no idea he created such atlas. Brilliant.

Anyone who can’t manage to find SIN and its like by simply typing “satanism forum” into Google either probably isn’t good Satanism material, or not serious about learning aspects of the topic. If anything, there’s probably far too much endless yammering about Satanism. The “occult,” i.e. hidden, has indisputable value….

I couldn't agree more. Well said

Satanism, practiced earnestly, boldly plows through the solipcistic sewage spraying from most of the other social media outlets. While these spaces are not (thankfully) ideal, nor are they meant to be, they are none the less sacred. Like a favorite abandoned building with a basement reaking of piss...but virtual.

Well said corvus! I appreciate all of whom participated in this thread. Glad to see where you're all coming from.

I mainly want to network with people who are as serious and knowledgeable as myself about Satanism. As well as meet people in my area to co-mingle with as my career in satanism has been a solitary one for the most part.

To remain authentic and outside of consensus simon says reality that you guys think you are outside of, only to change consensus of the sheep for consensus of the black sheep. That's like exchanging one master for another and thinking you are free because you no longer adhere to the former master, but follow the latter. The inner circles of these occult/satanic circles are rolling on the floor laughing at your ticky tacky pretend emancipated elitism. To those who are what you pretend to be you are nothing more than children playing at being adults, that's what you are tantamount to and they let you continue to play your game of pretense, while they "stand in their secret places and laugh...."
