What trait? What characteristic? You can't even define that. Let alone clearly state what differentiates you from the fakers. You repeat yourself like a broken record without even attempting to address the questions asked of you or any counter-arguments. One could as well debate an automaton. Why do you think Satanism is a religion? Why should one require a community? Satanic brothers and sisters? Please.

I believe the traits and characteristics led to "reactions" as a way to discern the "pretenders".

No I can't but I can identify my fellow Satanists if I observe behaviors and get to know people.

Quote from AnnaWhy do you think Satanism is a religion?

Because Satanism is equal with phenomena we identify as religion. There are holy days and ceremonies connected to it. There are high priests to do the invocation of Satan and his demons to prepare the participants for the ceremony. The problem here is that you use the Christian definition of religion which is totally flawed.

Quote from AnnaWhy should one require a community? S

It comes naturally. The human animal survived and triumphed through tribes. It's deeply rooted in our evolutionary biology.

Some people just have nothing better to do than to make mountains out of molehills, or say there is something when there is nothing, kind of like the imaginary unit: i to be used as a placeholder were there ever a 'real' operation to be performed.

"No, I can't."

OK. Let me do this for you.

A troo Satanist is antinomian, rebellious, autonomous and sinister. He believes the state is his enemy and engages in subversive acts against it, like smuggling weapons and blowing up government buildings, for example. He despises other citizens, he regards as mundanes, and tries to cull as many of them as possible. Any law abiding bitch who doesn't even dare to cross the street on the red light is a pussy and, if he has a nerve to call himself a Satanist, he's a pretender. What Anton LaVey says is irrelevant because he, himself, was a faker. The only true Satanist is Anton Long.

What would you say about this definition? I swear once upon time it was floating here. I like it better than yours because it actually led some impressionable females to engage in such "diabolical" acts like abandoning the decadent "magian" society to live in the wilderness as an ill conceived attempt to prove to themselves and others they are Satanic.

How is your comedy better? Why should anyone believe you and not any other know-it-all who seems to be wiser and more erudite than you? Fuck it, even the university professors peddled the bullshit about pretenders, only according to these claims you are the one who could be called a faker.

Since you are not capable of naming the traits of a Satanist but can only identify your fellow Satanists, then what you are saying is that you can recognize those who think in the same way as you but it's not sufficient to prove that your vision of Satanism is genuine and the visions contrary to yours are not.

To define a Satanist we must study the character of Satan and how he behaves in the Hebrew or abrahamic mythology. The real discussion is who and what Satan is. TST are not satanic because I disagree with them. They are not Satanists because Satan is not their focus to worship or devote to. Satan is just a tool they use to their cause.

Despite I don't believe in Satan literally does not mean I can't devote myself to him as an archetype because he is my projected self.

Disagreeing and arguing about what satanism is and isn't, is about just as productive as a Jehova's witness, Baptist, Presbyterian, and Catholic arguing about what contitutes Christianity.

It's not so hard to understand here. TR, defending your beliefs is fine, but at some point, hopefully sooner than later, you must realize it's ok to give up. You're not going to change anyone's mind or persuade anyone. And this does not make any participant not a satanist.

I can't say I've not enjoyed the arguing though, so... carry on.

I'm not a believer at all. I'm a doubter. This is not a discussion about beliefs vs other beliefs. Being a Satanist is a trait or characteristic so the discussion is really about what kind of character Satan is.

Lol. Now we are getting to the crux of the matter. Those I disagree with are not Satanic.

Now I'm speaking ex cathedra:

Frater Lucypurr, nobody here agrees with you. Therefore, you are a pretender. I, as the self-proclaimed head of the Satanic Inquisition, pronounce you guilty of Satanic heresy and hereby sentence you to being burned at a stake as an example to others!

Personally, I have left the atheist/theist debate because both parts do not see the metaphors and allegory in mythology.

Hindus seems to understand it as mythological gods are all avatars of the universal consciousness which our subconsciousness is part of also known as Brahman.
I would treat this an very wise choice.

I regard Hindus as really the best RHP. You basically make a God when needed, while partying with the relatives. It seems very heathy practice to deal with the forgotten mind.

You can't answer it.

You define the traits of Satan as: the character of Satan and how he behaves in the Hebrew or abrahamic mythology.

You haven't really defined it or applied it to actions one might take. Satanic is the condition of being Satan.

Easy thing to answer:  What are the personality traits of (condition of being) mythological Satan? What did Lucifer/Satan do and for what reason did he do It? What provoked that personality trait ultimately begetting this archetype you reference?

You are as of now defining the personality trait as a trait of a personality. No depth provided.

Tell me, Frater Lucypurr (I love that name) what's so wrong with using Satan as a tool to advance one's agenda? That you prefer to worship the tool of liberation instead of using it to your advantage, this is your choice. However, that doesn't make you more Satanic than others.

We can dig out the ol' Bible and read and study how satan behaved and how it was portrayed OR we can acknowledge satan as nothing more than a myth, OR better yet, possibly turn our backs completely from the christianized concept altogether and just see that hunanities' natural, carnal instincts, without boundaries are the essence of what satanisn (might) be.

Satan projects the character of a doubter, an outsider, carnal beast, a defiant and he is a personification of the LHP as he desires godlike power. The LHP is one of the main trait that TST lacks. They are actually RHP.
