Quote from Anna Oh great sage, I didn't know you were satanically wiser than Anton LaVey. So what's that "actual understanding of the esoteric and psychology" of yours? Because so far you demonstrated none.

The satanic religion is like Wicca constructed out of the esoteric. Despite it said that LaVey are influenced by Crowley it seems more that he is influenced by Gardner despite he also criticised Wicca for having the Christian light/dark duality. Nothing wrong with that cause new religions often comes out as critic of older. LaVey also knew the astrologist Michael Harner, so he clearly have inspiration from there when it comes to the concepts of intellectual decompression chamber.

And yeah, you're right there is nothing Satanic about the 11 rules of the earth. The question regarding TST concerned using its activism as a tool of transgression against the oppressive Christian status quo. It's not about statements but actions.

TST do not focus on the individual. LaVey was concern with himself just like the character of Satan. I'm convinced that he made these rules to either exposes the pseudo-Satanists or/and to manipulate the sheep.

Okay, Explain this one:

It looks like the magic circle, the magical elements fire, air, earth and water and the magical planets Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and there are 2 astrological signs I can't recognize. The ritual is LBRH.

BTW the symbol in your profile picture looks like ONA...

Tom, can you provide some more information to flesh out your views regarding the esoteric nature of Satanism? What is the satanic worldview from your point of view?

I try to be so objective as possible. I'm a doubter, so I want to know. When it comes to the occult or esoteric nature of Satanism the occult ritual chamber breaks the intellectual norms, so it makes therefore sense to me that the individual or participants will treat the invoked Powers of Darkness as they were real entities but never as masters nor servants if the Satanist have taken the name of Satan as a part of himself. It's that part of Satanism that confuses many people.

Thanks - I like the implications. You seem to be suggesting that you can invoke Powers of Darkness. Just wondering if there is a metaphysics/ontology associated with this viewpoint?

I have a pragmatic view on the esoteric. The ritual chamber is to me not only the barrier between Satanists and none-Satanists but also the barrier between rational and spiritual.

Infinity, oneness, the unity of opposites; that doesn't come to your mind? At all?

What is the Philosopher's Stone? Baphomet means what?

Also why do you think phoenix is the symbol of the ONA?

Yes, I think there is something I’m not quite getting here. I’m interested in the satanic worldview you subscribe to.

I note the distinction between rational and spiritual, but each approach implies an underlying ontological unity and an epistemological standard. Is ritual just self-transformational psychodrama or is it something more and if so what does that imply metaphysically or esoterically? How do you reconcile them?

It's not the phonix but the symbol inside or behind the phonix if you look
deeply on his profile picture.

My answer is that I don't know. I like the Jungian model about the archetypes of the collective unconsciousness but there is also the LHP hindu version about gods and demons being avatars of Brahman the universal consciousness which our subconsciousness is part of.

Fair enough.

What strikes me in your approach is that you're pretty good at paying attention to and remembering the details but not the whole. Like you could see the trees, even knew their latin names, but couldn't see the forest.

The magic circle represents the infinity and oneness. The unity of opposites lies within the elements. Fire vs water, air vs earth, Fire and air masculine vs earth and water feminine.

Okey dokey, I think I must congratulate you on figuring out that Canis likes tripping on ONA stuff. That such a fruitcake like you has managed to catch this birdie has made my day.

Holy shit, there really is a lightly hidden ONA sigil in my Avatar.

I'm not a white-supremacist, nor am I into nationalism, so I can't incorporate ONA, lest some blokes from the UK whoop my ass, even if I have been called "Node", which is slightly better than a "jape".

Anyway...

Are you sure they are primarily astrology symbols?

Could the symbols for the planets contain more?

Mars is male, but the symbol for mars and male is also the __________ symbol for _________ ?

Astrology is not the "A word" I was looking for..

Look inside the "planet symbols", at the inner 3.  These are called "The Three ______" and represent Mercury, Salt, and Sulfur, which are central to this "A" word?

* This image is from the cover of a E-book on a certain esoteric subject someone versed in "occult esoterics" should know.

What's wrong with the ONA? They seem so cool.

Wait.  I want that one back because I just said I can't associate with them in the previous post, in any case answer the fucking questions please.

Okay, fuck this.

Answers: No, Yes, A word is Alchemy, symbol for lead, the three primes.
